Insurance

Dr. Teich’s treatment plans are individualized per patient in order to ensure that every patient receives the best quality care possible. Many aspects of his treatment plans differ from what insurance covers. Therefore, in order to protect this level of treatment, we have not signed on with any insurance companies, including Medicare.

We do not bill insurance companies directly, as many insurance plans will attempt to pay the provider instead of the patient. Although we cannot guarantee or be responsible for any reimbursements, we will do our best to advise how to work with your insurance company, and provide them with whatever information necessary to process your claim. Before your first visit, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to find out what out-of-network coverage your plan provides, if any.

Patients covered by Medicare will receive an “Opt-Out” contract to sign and hold for their records. This contract explains that our bills cannot be submitted to Medicare.

Morton M. Teich M.D., P.C. cannot be held responsible for the amount of reimbursement received.
